Mihaela Coman is a professional bellydancer, model, singer, host, actress and avatar master. She is known for her charm, her sagacity and her determination. She is originally from Romania but grew up in Canada as of the age of 8 . She now lives in Miami Beach and works internationally.
Her interest in arts and entertainment began at a very young age. Some early memories include a 3 year old Mihaela dancing the Lamabada in a pink tutu skirt and later, her receiving honorable mentions for playing the role of a fox in the school play at the age of six.
Her artistic interests always remained a hobby until the time came for her to choose a career. She realized nothing conventional truly caught her interest so she decided to pursue her talents. At that time she already had a few years of dancing lessons and performances under her belt and some modeling experience. By sheer curiosity, she entered some beauty contests that she won and it gave her the opportunity to represent Canada in International contests and beauty pageants.
Namely : Miss Diaspora in Romania, Miss Global Beauty in China and International Model of the year in Korea.
When she came back from her expeditions, she created a thriving career as a professional belly dancer, became an interviewer/host for an online video magazine, got signed by a modeling agency and began modeling professionally. This lead to her to become the notorious dancing belly in the Activia commercials internationally, to participated in and became a finalist in the French-Canadian version of Big Brother called Loft Story and to created a fun series of bellydance videos to inspire people to dance that got international coverage and attention. Mihaela also founded the pop girl band called XOX and became one of it's three band members.
In 2010, her girl band ended and having reached many of her goals she decided to step away from the stage so that she could come back with a new vision and purpose. She dedicated herself to becoming more authentic, aware, present, responsible and compassionate through the help of the Avatar Courses. She also studied Energy medicine though the Faculty of Innersource and explored various other courses. Now she enjoys sharing the valuable tools and exercise she learned with others.
Having taken the time to re-evaluate her goals and motivations and to create a stable foundation for her success, she is now ready to move forward with her ambitious goals. You can follow her blog for regular updates as she endeavors to improve the world through her talents.
